Bro. Eric has been pastor of Brister Baptist Church for more than 40 years. A life-long resident of Columbia County, he and his wife Sharon have been married since 1979 and have two grown sons, Nathan and Jonathan, and one grandson.

Bro. Eric is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University, the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served on various committees of the BMA at the state and local level.

Bro. Garret has been leading youth ministries since 2013 and began part-time at Brister in 2021. In 2024 he became our full time associate pastor and leads the youth group and worship services.

Bro. Garret attended Williams Baptist College for two years on a basketball scholarship before earning a degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He later received a master's degree from Southern Arkansas University. He is also currently attending the BMA Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology.

Bro. Garret was ordained to the ministry in 2014. He is married to Courtney, and they have two children, Colton and Aubree.
